James Sheldon Fallon, I, 64, of Rivesville, passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2019, in the Fairmont Regional Medical Center. Born September 7, 1954, in Clarksburg, he was a son of the late Delores Shaver.
A U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam Conflict, he had been employed as a coal miner, last working at Federal #2 in Blacksville.
He is survived by a son, James S. “Jamie” Fallon, II, and his wife Katie, of Gans, Pa.; a daughter, Amber Dawn Lovett, of Fairmont; two granddaughters, Kaylinn Grace and Amelia Grace Fallon; and sisters, Barbara Ann Long, of Shinnston, and Denise Eddy, of Monongah.
A gathering of family and friends will be held in the Richard R. Herod Funeral Home, Point Marion, at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, March 22, with a time of personal remembrances and reflections to follow.
