KINGWOOD — The Preston High softball team struggled to score runs in Saturday’s doubleheader to Keyser, losing both games by a combined score of 23-0.
The Knights were never able to get the bats going offensively. Preston struck out eight times in nine at-bats in the first game. In the second game, the Knights collected five hits in eight at-bats and struck out five times.
Emma Favro pitched six total innings in both games. She walked six batters, allowed 16 hits and recorded just one strikeout.
