Sharron Virginia (Grubb) Philpott, 73, of Smithfield, Pa., passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2019 with her loving family by her side as she went to be with her loving Heavenly Father.
She was born Oct. 17, 1945, in Kingwood.
Preceding her in death were her parents, James and Ova (Jones) Grubb; paternal grandparents, William Blake and Mae McGinnis; daughter, Laura Larissa Philpott; and her brother, John Edward Buchanan.
Sharron was a loving wife, sister, friend and neighbor. Surviving are her loving husband of 57 years, Rev. Frank M. Philpott; sisters and brothers, Linda Thomas, of Bruceton Mills, Pamela Carlson, of Cumming, Ga., Kenneth Buchanan, of Oak Hill, and Darrell Buchanan, of Dilliner, Pa.; several nieces and nephews; very close uncle and aunt, Rev. Charles and Nelda Harless, of Winchester, Va.; and her loving pets that she loved and cared for daily.
She was a member of the Smithfield United Methodist Church.
Sharron was formerly employed with the Monongalia County Health Department.
The family will greet friends and family at Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church St., Fairchance, Pa., from 4-8 p.m. Sunday, and from 9 a.m. Monday, March 18, until the 10 a.m. funeral service with Pastor Jay Polowsky officiating.
Interment will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens, in Morgantown.
