Bruce Lynn Miller, 66, of Rowlesburg, died February 21, 2019, at Mon Health Medical Center with his loving family by his side.
Bruce entered the gates of heaven on Thursday night. What a reunion there was. He is now in a land where he can speak the gospel knowing what he preached for many years has finally come true. He loved the Lord with all his heart.
Bruce was born August 22, 1952, in Grafton, son of the late Gilbert Andrew Sr. and Jane Bruno Miller. Bruce graduated from Grafton High School, class of 1970. He also had a Business Administration degree from Alderson Broaddus, class of 1990. He worked for NCWV Community Action helping clients with their needs. He had served the local Howesville charge as their pastor for about a decade.
Bruce is survived by his wife, Sherry Butler Miller of Rowlesburg, who he married in July 29, 1972; his two children, Andrew Miller and wife, Becca, of Wheeling and Jane Kennedy and husband, Bryce, of Morgantown; three grandchildren, Conner Miller, Riley Miller and Beckett Kennedy; his sister, Carol Peters and husband, Dennis, of Grafton; two brothers, Brady Miller, of Harrisonburg, Va., they shared a bond since the moment of their creation, as they were twins, and Gilbert Miller, Jr., of Grafton; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Andrew Miller.
Family and friends may call at Browning Funeral Home, in Kingwood, from 4 – 8 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 25, and from 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 26, until 11 a.m. the funeral hour with Pastor Kevin Keplinger and Jack Pace officiating. Interment will follow in Shay’s Chapel Cemetery.
