STEUBENVILLE, Ohio — Morgantown High clawed back from an early deficit, but fell in overtime to Steubenville, 77-75, on Friday evening.
The Mohigans trailed at halftime, but made a valiant effort in the second half to even the score and send the game to overtime. However, Steubenville emerged victorious after a tip-in at the buzzer.
Cam Selders led Morgantown (11-8) in scoring with 26 points and Alex Rudy scored 13.
The Mohigans will play again at 6 p.m. on Monday at Class AAA No. 1 Martinsburg.
