WHEELING — Morgantown played stout defense and emerged victorious in a 50-24 win over Linsly on Monday evening.
The Mohigans held Linsly to make just seven total baskets in the contest.
Morgantown (11-8) was led by Berit Johnson with 12 points (all points coming off 3-point shots), Lexi Hughes netted 11 and Jadyn LaNeve scored 10.
The Mohigans will play again Wednesday against South Charleston at the Little General Shootout at West Virginia State College.
