MUB set to launch updated website

MORGANTOWN — Morgantown Utility Board will launch its updated website, mub.org, Jan. 25.
“The updated site was built with a few things in mind. Foremost, it was streamlined to ensure the site loads rapidly. It’s light on graphics so users can access information quickly whether using a desktop computer or a mobile device,” said MUB Director of Communications Chris Dale. “In fact, as with our previous website, the new version will appropriately scale according to the device used.”
The framework for the site is based on years of visitor data. Information visitors most frequently access is placed upfront with the bottom of the page serving as a directory for specific information.

“Ultimately, the new site will incorporate an additional news feature called Insights. This will provide everything from project photos to video segments outlining MUB initiatives and drone flyovers of various projects,” Dale said.

The intention of the new design is to better serve MUB customers and provide the information they need.
