Robert “Bob” Eugene Oscar Raber, 62, of Morgantown, passed away at WVU Medicine on Tuesday, January 22, 2019. Bob was born in Morgantown, on June 12, 1956, to William Raber of Maidsville and the late Loretta Metz Raber.
Bob worked as a Produce Manager at Food Lion and also spent some time working as a coal miner. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and volunteering his time at Animal Friends.
In addition to his father, Bob is survived by three sons, Brandon Raber, Brett Raber, and Josh Raber, all of Wilmington, N.C.; two brothers, JR Raber and his wife Raealena, of Morgantown and Greg Raber, of Johnstown; aunt, Selma Utt; and many nieces nephews, and friends.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the nurses and staff at Mapleshire Nursing and Rehab Center, WV Caring, and WVU Medicine for their care and compassion in Bob’s time of need.

Friends are invited to gather in support of the family at McCulla Funeral Home from 4 – 7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 25. A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. with Pastor Jim Weber officiating. Following the service, McCulla Funeral Home will provide cremation services.
