Harold C. “Sonny” Tennant, Jr., a son of the late Harold C. Tennant, Sr., and the late Helen Josephine Rogers Tennant, passed away at home in Morgantown, on Wednesday, January 16, 2019.
Survivors include his children, Melissa and husband Micheal Forbes; Amy Tennant and husband Michael Simpkins and Andrea Tennant and boyfriend Shaun Capocelli; six grandchildren and one grandchild yet to be born; a brother, Jerry Lee Tennant; three sisters, Sally Rich, Joyce Harris and Marilyn Cale; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin brothers, Ronald and Donald Sargent.
A memorial service will be held at Smith Funeral & Cremation Care, 108 Holland Ave., Westover at 2 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 21, officiated by John Conaway. Visitation with the family is 90 minutes prior to the service, 12:30 – 2 p.m.
