PARKERSBURG — K.J. McClurg and Kaden Metheny combined for 36 points and were two of University’s four players that scored double-digit figures in a 82-57 win over Parkersburg.
On top of being the leading scorers for the Hawks, McClurg finished the game with seven rebounds, five assists and four steals, and Metheny had six rebounds and six assists.
The other two players that notched double-digits figures were Mike Maumbe, who finished with 14 points, and Kyle Smith, who finished with 10. Maumbe scored all of points in the second half and had three blocked shots.
University (7-2) also had six different players score 3-pointers in the win.
The Hawks will play again at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Morgantown.
