MORGANTOWN — One game after getting benched, senior forward Esa Ahmad had one of his best games of the season with 21 points and nine rebounds.
WVU coach Bob Huggins said Ahmad was pressing himself too much earlier in the season and he had to slow down.
“He was good today, because he slowed down and took really good shots,” Huggins said. “He only ran over one guy today. That’s a hell of an improvement.”
