Michael A. Barzanti, 57, of Dilliner, Pa., passed away unexpectedly Friday, Dec. 21, 2018, at his home.
Born in Waynesburg, Pa., on April 18, 1961, he was a son of the late Richard J. Barzanti Sr. and Margaret G. “Peggy” (Courtney) Barzanti.
A 1979 graduate of Mapletown High School, he also graduated from West Virginia University. Michael worked for more than 30 years in restaurant management, including 12 years at the Lakeview Resort and Conference Center in Morgantown.
Surviving are his two brothers, Richard Barzanti Jr., and William Barzanti and wife, Kerryann, all of Dilliner, Pa.; a nephew, Alexander Barzanti; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Honoring his wishes, there will be no public services. A private family gathering will be held, with burial on the family plot at Highland Cemetery, Davistown, Pa.
