MORGANTOWN — The Trinity boys’ basketball team’s defense was too good Friday evening, holding Jefferson to just 32 points and only 14 made baskets.
The Warriors also had three different players score double figures in the convincing win.
Briston Bennett led the way for Trinity (5-0) in scoring with 20 points, making two 3-pointers along the way. Joel Robertson finished with 18 and Josh Hart had 15 in the win.
Trinity will play again at 6 p.m. on Friday at Wheeling Jesuit against Linsly.
