WHEELING — University just couldn’t score enough points to knock off the No. 2 team in the state in Wheeling Park, dropping the contest 38-32.
“We’re playing as good of defense as anyone in the state,” UHS coach Dave Price said after the game. “We just need to score.”
Ashten Boggs led the Hawks (3-3) in scoring with 13 points.
University will play again at 7:30 p.m. on Friday at Buckhannon-Upshur.
