MORGANTOWN — K.J. McClurg had 25 points and six rebounds in three quarters of action to lead University High to an 81-51 victory over Fort Hill on Thursday, at the UHS gymnasium.
Ryan Metheny and Mike Maumbe both had double-doubles.
Metheny finished with 24 points and 10 assists, while Maumbe added 11 points and 11 rebounds.
UHS did its damage in the first half, taking a 25-7 lead in the first quarter and a 54-19 lead at the half.
The Hawks (4-0) will play Woodrow Wilson, at 8 p.m. Friday, at Morgantown High.
