MOUNDSVILLE — Kaden Metheny couldn’t miss Friday night, finishing with 27 points, as the University boys’ basketball team went on to dominate John Marshall 78-38.
Metheny made five 3-pointers in the contest.
Rodney Bucklew added 17 points and 10 rebounds and K.J. McClurg notched 15 for the Hawks (2-0). Ryan Niceler also added 14 rebounds and four blocked shots.
University will play again at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday against Wheeling Park.
