Gladys M. “Dolly” Harvey, 81, of Westover, formerly of Mt. Morris, Pa., died at 7:25 p.m., Thursday, December 13, 2018, at home. She was born Friday, May 7, 1937, in Galloway, a daughter of the late Harland Ray Miller and Ethel Goodwin Miller.
She was a member of the Mt. Morris Gospel Tabernacle Assembly of God. For 28 years, she lived in Madison, Ohio and worked as an Aid at the NEO Hospital, did volunteer work and was head of the Candy Stripers. She was also a homemaker. She moved back to Mt. Morris, where she married Truman Duane Harvey on August 11, 1987. They were married for 21 years until he died on July 20, 2008.
Surviving are two daughters, Karen and husband Gerard Tisi, of Cincinnati, Kathy and husband Keith Amari, of Strongsville, Ohio; three stepdaughters, Carletta and husband Robert Bush, of Blacksville, Sandra Talbott, of Wirtz, Va. and Sheila Scott, of Morgantown; six grandchildren, Bill Pfaff, Christopher and wife Teresa Pfaff, Stephen and wife Kara Pfaff, Kathleen Amari, Tony Amari, Laura and wife Kalleigh Amari; several step-grandchildren; several step-great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Deceased is one sister, Alice Davies and one brother, Delmar Ray Miller.
Friends will be received in the Milliken and Throckmorton FH, Inc. from 2 – 4 p.m. and 6 – 8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 20. There will be additional viewing at The Mt. Morris Gospel Tabernacle Assembly of God, 103 School Rd. Mt. Morris, Pa., from 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 21, until the 11 a.m. service with the Rev. John Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Mt. Morris, Pa.
