Charles Town — The Preston girls’ basketball team picked up its first win of the season after defeating Washington 50-37 on Friday evening.
Carsynn Sines led the way for the Knights (1-1) with 14 points. Tori Garlits and Michelle Thomas were the team’s second-leading scorers with 11 apiece.
Preston will play again at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hedgesville.
