Greg Allen Rush, 56, of Waynesburg, Pa., died on Wednesday, December 5, 2018, at home following a heart condition of 3 months.
He was born Thursday, March 22, 1962, in Morgantown. A son of the late Allen “Pucker” Rush and Naomi (Haught) Rush.
Mr. Rush was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, in Waynesburg. He was also a member of the Waynesburg Masonic Lodge #153 F & AM, the West Virginia Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite of Pittsburgh, and the Waynesburg Moose Lodge #461. He enjoyed hunting, but loved riding his motorcycle and spending time with family and friends. He was a meat cutter for 15 years and a coal miner for the last 18 years.
He is survived by his wife, Samantha Prokop Rush, whom he married on May 22,1993.
Also surviving are two daughters, Ashley Rush, of Waynesburg, Pa., Taylor (Christopher) Caldwell, of Greensboro, Pa.; one sister, Susan (Robin) Levelle, of Morgantown; one sister-in-law, Connie Rush, of Morgantown; one brother-in-law, David (Bobbi) Prokop, of Ebensburg, Pa.; two nieces, Sarif (Darin Arnold and Wendi (Jason) Siko; and one 1 nephew, Riff Hennen.
Preceding him in death is one brother, Gary Rush .
Friends will be received in the Milliken and Throckmorton FH, in Waynesburg, Pa., from 2 – 4 p.m. and 6 – 8 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 10, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 11, with the Rev. Dr. Donald R. Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Wadestown Cemetery, in Wadestown.
The Waynesburg Masonic Lodge #153 F & AM will hold Masonic Services at the funeral home at 6 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 10.
