Glenna Faye Reel Spiroff, 93, of Morgantown, passed away Monday, December 3, 2018, at Sundale Nursing Home, with family by her side. She was born November 26, 1925, in Morgantown, a daughter of the late Glen and Augusta Sheets Reel of Cassville.
Glenna graduated from University High School. She worked as a telephone operator and as a decorator at the Davis and Lynch Glass Factory.
Glenna is survived by her daughter, Rebecca “Becky” Mullenax and her husband Glenn Mullenax, of Morgantown; two grandsons, Michael Glenn Mullenax and his wife Dawn, and their three children, Ryleigh, McKenna, and Samuel David Mullenax, of Middleburg Heights, Ohio and Craig Mullenax and his wife Kristi, of Morgantown; one brother-in-law, Victor Spiroff, of Selma, Texas; two sisters-in-law, Carol Spiroff, of Fort Ashby and Betty Spiroff Cowdery, of Morgantown and 19 nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Glenna was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, David Spiroff, who died in 2009; her brother and his wife, Elwood and Ruth Reel; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Leo and Dee Spiroff, Polly Spiroff Martin, Daniel and Maxine Spiroff, Paul and Regina Spiroff, Nick Spiroff, Richard and Veronica Spiroff Mealy, Ethel Spiroff, James “Trigger” Spiroff; and one nephew.
At Glenna’s request, her family celebrated her life and legacy with a private viewing and burial.
Glenna’s family wishes to thank everyone for the excellent care at Sundale Nursing Home and Hospice.
