Michael Allen ‘Sleepy’ Hamrick, 56, of Morgantown, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 29, 2018, at UPMC Mercy Hospital, following a brief illness. He was the son of Barbara F. Hamrick, of Morgantown.
Michael is survived by one daughter, Heather Hamrick; step-son, Drew Watson and one brother, Randy Hamrick.
Michael was a truck driver for over 30 years. He loved to go camping at Big Bear Lake with his close friend Andy. He also enjoyed going to the races.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde E. Hamrick.
Friends may call at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home from 2 – 6 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 2, and from 11 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 3, until time of services at noon with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating.
