Paul C. Stiles, 81, of Burton, passed away at 3:40 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, 2018, at Sundale Nursing Home, in Morgantown.
He was born in Wadestown on Nov. 18, 1937, a son of the late Charles N. Stiles and the late Mary C. Wright.
Surviving are his siblings, Lonnie Wright and his wife, Dollie, Ralph Wright and his wife, Kathy, Larry Wright, Freddie Wright, Carol Boone and her husband, Daniel, and Wanda Johnson, all of Wadestown; and his sister-in-law, Freda Stiles, of Crossroads; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by a brother, James Stiles; a sister, Beverly Triplett; and one nephew, Lonnie David Stiles.
Paul loved working on his land. He was an avid raccoon hunter and liked going to the dog trials. You could always find him trading with his friends and family. He enjoyed deer hunting, and you could see him riding his tractor between his home and his ground in the range or mowing grass at home. Paul will be missed by all who knew him.
Friends may call at Hutson Funeral Home, 500 E. Main St., Mannington, from 3-7 p.m. Tuesday, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, with Pastor John Snyder officiating. Interment will be held at Highland Cemetery.
