Leota Blanche “Susie” Bosley, 69, of Morgantown, passed away Sunday, Nov. 18, 2018, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital.
She was born Nov. 29, 1948, in Mor-gantown, a daughter to the late Odis Johnson and Hester Gibson Johnson Goodwin.
Susie cleaned houses and loved listening to country music. More than anything, she loved her family and animals. She was a cancer survivor and fought with grace and courage.
She is survived by her son, Delbert R. Bosley Jr., of Weston; her daughter, Melissa Bosley Marshall and husband, Richard, of Morgantown; grandchildren, Dustin Varner and wife, Cheyenne, Felisha Marshall and husband, Tyler and Craig Marshall; six great-grandchildren; brother, Lawrence and wife, Ginger Johnson; and her beloved sisters and best friends, Mary Hiser and Joann Mathess. Susie also loved her many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert R. Bosley Sr.; her companion, Tony Soccorsi; brothers-in-law, Harry Hiser and William Mathess; sister-in-law, Joann Johnson; stepfather, Jimmy Goodwin Sr.; brother, Jimmy Goodwin Jr.; and baby brother, Gary.
Susie’s request for cremation was honored by her family. A remembrance gathering of friends and family will be held at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21.
