Jeannette Robey, 95, of Wana, died Wednesday, November 7, 2018, in the Evergreen Assisted Living Center, in Morgantown.
She was born August 31, 1923, at Miracle Run, a daughter of the late Beecher Steel and Clara V. Barth Steel.
Jeanette was a retired registered nurse. Mrs. Robey was a member of the West Warren Baptist Church, of Wadestown.
She was a member of the Golden Glow Rebekah Lodge #299, of Wadestown, the Crusader Lodge #422, of Wadestown, Wadestown Women’s Club, Blacksville Senior Center, and the West Virginia 4-H All Stars.
Surviving are two daughters, Karen Miller and her husband John, of Wadestown and Janet Sanders, of Wana; one sister, Eileen Maher, of Cape Coral, Fla.; and two grandsons, Brandon Sanders and Adam Miller and his wife Sonya.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Robey; one son, Gary Kerr; one brother, Chester Ralph Shriver; and one sister, Wilma Shriver.
Jeannette’s family would like to thank the staff of Evergreen Assisted Living for their love and care over the past few years.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home, in Hundred, from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, with the Rev. Rose Saunders officiating. Interment will follow in the Wadestown Cemetery.
