MORGANTOWN — The Morgantown Police Department will alter traffic patterns Nov. 12, for the Veteran’s Day Parade beginning at 5:30 p.m. The parade will commence on High Street beginning at 6:30 p.m. and will disperse at Foundry Street.
Traffic in the downtown area will be restricted during the parade. Traffic will be detoured off of Willey Street to Prospect Street and restricted at University Avenue and Willey Street. Traffic on Spruce Street at Willey Street will turn right on Willey Street. Motorists entering the downtown area from Beechurst Avenue will be delayed during the parade. Traffic patterns will be returned to normal as soon as possible following the parade.
The Spruce Street parking garage will be available for spectators to park. Parade spectators are urged to arrive downtown early to allow ample time for parking.
