Leroy “Sonny” “Lee” Cress, 84, of Medina, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, Oct. 28, 2018.
He was born Aug. 17, 1934, in Morgantown, to the late Lee and Lola (McGlone) Cress.
Lee graduated from Masontown High School. He worked for the city of Medina water treatment plant for almost 25 years, from which he retired.
He enjoyed spending his time working in his yard and playing with his grandchildren. Lee never met a dog that he didn’t like.
He will be greatly missed by his daughters, Lola Marie Cress and Sherry (Michael) Mazzella; and his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly (Colburn) Cress; son, Steven Cress; and daughter, Sandra Cress.
The family of Lee will receive friends at Waite and Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1, where a service will follow. Burial will follow at York Township Cemetery.
