Pastor Fred R. Cady Jr., 76, of Albright, entered his heavenly home peacefully Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2018.
He was the Pastor of Mount Nebo Baptist Church in Valley Point, for 24 years.
He was a loving husband, father and uncle. He loved working with his hands. He had a heart for God and loved serving the community through his church. His favorite Bible verse was 1 John 5:12 “He that hath the son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.” His favorite hymn was “Higher Ground.”
He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Constance Sue Durkee Cady; his daughter, Dawn Graves and her husband, Bob, of Albright; his sister, Bobbi Jacobs, of Brookfield; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred R. Cady Sr., and Caroline K. Katzmarek Cady; and a brother-in-law, Bruce Jacobs.
Family and friends may call at Independent Baptist Church from 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, until the 10:30 a.m. funeral with Pastor Terry Cumberland officiating. Inter-ment will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
