MILLS CREEK, W.Va. — Clay-Battelle High’s volleyball team took care of business Tuesday evening in a tri-match against Tygarts Valley and Pendleton County, sweeping both matches by scores of 25-13, 25-18 (against Tygarts Valley) 25-17 and 25-10 (against Pendleton County).
Alexis Pride had a big day for the Cee-Bees (15-11) with six aces, 18 assists and three kills. Annie Yost notched five aces and six digs and Autumn Stewart had five aces and four blocks. Lily Currence also had five kills and Hailey Carreon had 10 blocks.
C-B will play again Saturday at Trinity Christian School for the Mason Dixon Tournament and is projected to play Paden City.
