Kenneth Paul Bolyard, 83, of Evansville, passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2018, with family by his side. He was born on September 14, 1935, in Thornton, son of the late James “Jimmy” Bolyard and Elsie Knotts Bolyard Deavers.
Paul did a lot of fishing in his early years, loved gardening, mowing grass and being outdoors. He retired as a coalminer for Martinka Coal Company, in Fairmont.
Paul is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Nancy Louise Pingley Bolyard; three daughters, Kathryn Ellen Baylor and husband, Charles, of Arthurdale, Loretta Ann Colebank and husband, Kevin, of Marquess, Paula Lynette Shahan and companion, Mike Haller, of Marquess; seven grandchildren, Heather, Brian, Shanna, Greg, Josh, Amanda and Kendra; 11 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Loretta Poling, of Gerrardstown, Deloris Suder and husband, Arnold, of Grafton, Dorothy Reneman, of Fairmont, Elvera Knotts and husband Douglas, of Berkley Springs; and several nieces and nephews.
A Graveside service will be at Mount Israel Cemetery at noon on Saturday, October 6, with the Reverend David Spence officiating.
Bolyard Funeral Home, in Newburg, is handling the arrangements for the Bolyard Family.
