Margaret Sue Flynn, 78, of Brave, Pa., died Wednesday, September 26, 2018, in the Rolling Meadows Nursing Home, in Waynesburg, Pa.
She was born September 29, 1939, at Kuhntown, Pa., a daughter of the late Raymond Gump and Amanda Ellen Williams Gump.
Mrs. Flynn was a retired coal miner. She worked at the Federal #2 mine on Miracle Run for 27 years and ran a main line motor.
She was a member of the Daybrook Church of Christ.
Surviving are two sons, Jimmie Flynn, of Brave, Pa. and Aaron VanTassell, of Cameron; three daughters Kelly Tedrow and her husband Robert, of Waynesburg, Pa., Sherry Flynn, of Westover, and Amber VanTassell, of Bula; one brother and his wife, Jack Gump and wife Sandy, of Valpairsao, Ind.; one sister and her husband, Patricia VanTassell and husband Richard, of Millington, Tenn.; and 12 grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her companion, Charles Baker and a sister and brother who both died as infants.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home, in Blacksville, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, September 29, the funeral services will be held at 8 p.m.
