Alma Irene Shultz, age 92, of Morgantown, passed away Monday, September 24, 2018, at Mapleshire Nursing Home. Alma was born December 12, 1925, daughter of the late Clyde Gallagher and Irene Fisher Gallagher.
Alma retired from NIOSH. Alma also worked at Olan Matheson, Heyden Chemical, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Edgewood Arsenal and Wright-Patterson Airforce Base. Alma enjoyed playing music and attending church. She played the mandolin, guitar, and accordion. She was a member of the First Christian Church.
In addition to her parents, Alma was preceded in death in 1981, by her late husband, Forrest Shultz.

Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home from 4 – 6 p.m. on Thursday, September 27, and from 10 a.m. on Friday, September 28, until the time of service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Michael L. Carter officiating. Interment will follow at East Oak Grove Cemetery.
