MORGANTOWN — The Trinity soccer team used a hat-trick by Gabe Turak to knock off Tyler Consolidated on Wednesday night, 4-1.
Mason Steptoe had the other goal for the Warriors and goalie Fletcher Hartsock had 13 saves.
Trinity (5-5) will host East Richland (Ohio) at 5:30 p.m. Friday

KINGWOOD — The Knights scored early against the Bees on a goal by Megan Noss, assisted by Macie Roy.
Lilly Pitzer netted the first goal of her high school career at the 32 minute mark, assisted Noss, and with under a minute in the first half, Kendra Bolinger placed a driving header off of a Sydney Davis corner kick for PHS to end the half. Talia Goodwin and Kendra Bolinger finished the scoring for the Knights (both assists by Noss). Preston out-shot the Bees,10-3, and Kinley Manko recorded her second shut out of the season and had three saves.
The Knights (5-5) will play today at Fairmont Senior.
Golf
PARKERSBURG — Morgantown lost to Parkersburg, 341-382, at the Parkersburg Country Club.
For the Mohigans, Jack Wiedebusch led the way with an 87. Other scorers included Andy Seman (94), Carter Kline (100), Jack Hudson (101), Antonio Rollo (102) and Courtney Kline (105).
The Big Reds’ Carter Stone was the medalist with an 82.
Preston 4th at Big 10
GRAFTON — The Knights finished fourth in the Big 10 tournament at Tygart Lake Golf Course with a 339.
The Knights top scorer was Caleb Osborne, with a 70. The rest of the team was Luke Livengood (76) Daniel Allen (96), Felicity Wolfe (97), Thomas Conner (97) and Jake Loughry (107).
Grafton won the team title, while Fairmont Senior finished second.
