Dr. Clifford Linkous

Dr. Clifford Madison Linkous, age 74, of Morgantown, passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2018, at J.W.  Ruby Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family. Clifford was born in Logan on October 30, 1943, a son of the late Clayton and Louise Amos Linkous.
Clifford owned his own oral and maxillofacial surgery office in Morgantown, Fairmont and Elkins, which he ran for many years. In his spare time, Clifford enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing, and was also avid in working Sudoku puzzles. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather who will be deeply missed.
Clifford is survived by his wife of 51 years, Mary Susan Tinsley Linkous; his sons, Eugene Allen Linkous and wife Theresa, of Kan., Tim Rhein Linkous and wife Kendra, of Morgantown, Clifford Madison Linkous, Jr., of Morgantown, and Brian Michael Linkous, of Morgantown; sister, Peggy Cappellanti; brothers, Dr. Clayton Linkous, Jr., Dr. Tom Linkous, and Dr. Dan Linkous; and grandchildren, Mason Linkous, Tyler Linkous, Reagan Linkous, Harrison Linkous, and Kennedy Linkous.
In honoring Clifford’s wishes, McCulla Funeral Home has provided cremation services.
In lieu of flowers, the Linkous family asks that donations be made to the Morgantown Christian Academy, 809 Greenbag Road, Morgantown, WV  26508.
Friends may gather at McCulla Funeral Home  from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 18, with the  memorial service to follow with his son, Tim Linkous officiating.
