Three Morgantown men arrested in connection with armed robbery on Madigan Avenue

MORGANTOWN — Morgantown Police have arrested three men in connection with an armed robbery on Madigan Avenue on Thursday.

According to police, officers responded to a call in the 300 block of Madigan Avenue at about 4:47 p.m. Thursday. The caller described the suspects as three white males, one of whom was carrying a guitar.

The victim reported that one suspect held him down, another held a knife to his throat and the third went through his pockets and took his property.

While heading to the scene, officers saw three men fitting the description, with one carrying a guitar, leaving the area on South High Street. When detained, the men were positively identified as having committed the crime and were found to be in possession of the victim’s personal property, as well the knife that was reportedly used during the robbery.

As officers continued to investigate the incident, they discovered that the victim, who has a special needs condition, was reported as a missing and endangered person from Maryland.

Joshua Paul Austin, 26, of Morgantown, was arrested and charged with first degree robbery and conspiracy. He was also found to have been a fugitive wanted for unrelated charges in Pennsylvania. According to police, Austin will be extradited to Pennsylvania at a later time.

Dylan Lee Yoders Jr., 24, of Morgantown, was arrested and charged with first degree robbery and conspiracy.

Charles Calvin Ralston, 23, of Morgantown, was also arrested and charged with first degree robbery and conspiracy.
