KINGWOOD — A Rowlesburg man is charged with felony malicious wounding for allegedly cutting a man with glass Thursday night.
John Eugene Goff II, 34, was in the Tygart Valley Regional Jail Friday in lieu of $10,000 bond.
According to the criminal complaint by Preston Deputy R.A. Stockett Jr.:
The victim said Goff had cut him with glass and thrown him over the front porch railing. There was blood on the front door and porch. The victim had a large laceration on his arm, and cuts on his fingers and hands.
A witness said that when Stockett arrived, Goff ran into the house. The deputy found the door locked and barricaded. The deputy forced entry and found Goff lying on the stairwell.
