Paul Wilson Long, Sr., 80, of Morgantown, passed away Monday, August 27, 2018, at his home. He was born October 24, 1937, in Morgantown, a son of the late Vernell and Freda (DeWitt) Long.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Long.
He is survived by his siblings, James Lewis Long and his wife Sandy and Shirley Palmer Hagedorn; five children and their spouses, 15 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren.
Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home from 5 – 8 p.m. on Thursday, August 30, and from 10 a.m. on Friday, August 31, until the time of funeral at 11 a.m. with Chaplain Craig Falkenstine officiating. In keeping with his wishes, cremation services will be provided following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Morgantown Hospice, 3596 Collins Ferry Rd., Suite 250, Morgantown, WV 26505.
