MORGANTOWN — The West Virginia Community Choir will begin its fall semester with an open rehearsal at 7 p.m. Monday.
This is an opportunity for singers to participate in rehearsal and stay for a short reception, where they can meet choir members, ask questions and register to be a part of the choir.
“The choir is a wonderful place where singers of all ages and levels of experience can come together and make music,” said the choir’s conductor, WVU’s Director of Choral Activities, Kym Scott.
Choir members range in age from teenagers to octogenarians, and range in level of ability from choir members with very limited musical experience, through to professional musicians.
The choir is a part of WVU’s Community Music Program, a program that offers musical opportunities to community members of all ages. Rehearsals take place at the Creative Arts Center.
