Frances Harriett Michael Hamilton, 75, of Daybrook, passed away Friday, August 10, 2018, at her home.
She was born October 30, 1942, at Ice’s Run, near Fairmont, a daughter of the late Harry Michael and Esther Arnett Michael.
Frances was a member of the Daybrook Methodist Church. She worked in the kitchen at the Mon Health Medical Center for a short period of time.
She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was an avid reader of books, playing bingo on her Ipad and playing bingo at the fair. She loved going to Petersburg to the camp and spending her summers there.
Surviving are two sons, Buck and Crystal Hamilton and Harry Hamilton and Rhonda Morgan; a son-in-law, Steve Puhalla, all of Daybrook; grandchildren, Chrystina, Ryan, Cliff, Nathan, Kayla, Logan, Jessica, Shane, Michelle, Daniel, Sarah, and Peighton; great-grandchildren, Mason, Easton, Ryker, and Remington; sisters, Brenda and Barry Smith, Karen Wilson, Wilda Michael, Helen and Alan Oser, Janet Michael; brother, Harry and Emma Michael; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Dee Hamilton; one daughter, Carol Puhalla; a great-granddaughter, Aliegh Conway; a brother, Lawrence Michael; and a sister, Ivy Michael.
Friends and family may call at the Daybrook Methodist Church, in Daybrook, from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. on Monday, August 13. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 14, with the Rev. Freddie Eddy, II officiating. Interment will follow in the Tennant Cemetery, in Daybrook.
