CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Members of the House of Delegates Judiciary Committee began their tour of the much-talked-about state Supreme Court offices Monday morning.
The tour was going to take place in tour groups because of the size of the committee and staff.
The judiciary committee is scheduled to continue hearing testimony in its impeachment proceedings of one or more members of the Court.
MetroNews Legal Analyst Harvey Peyton said the tour is important because it will let the committee members see if the proof meets the allegations.
“If the evidence matches the reality,” Peyton said.
MetroNews Statewide Correspondent Brad McElhinny is the pool reporter on the tour and will be reporting later at wvmetronews.com.
