Angela C. (Lewis) Novosel, 50, of Bumpass, Va., left this life to be with those gone before her in heaven and with Christ our Lord and Savior on Monday July 30, 2018, in Richmond, Va. She was surrounded by her parents, husband, and son at the moment of her departure. The daughter of Ronald and Kathie (Sullivan) Lewis, of Terra Alta, Angie was born on March 11, 1968, in Morgantown.
Angie attended Shepherd College as a graphic design student and was an exceptionally gifted artist. In her life, Angie was employed by many companies; however, her one true love in work was being “second” mom driving a school bus for James City County in Williamsburg, Va., a job she had chosen to be with her son just a little more often when she was not performing her role as homemaker. Angie dearly loved camping and fishing with her husband and son, as well as her Catholic faith and everything angels.
In addition to her parents, Angie is survived by her husband, Matthew Novosel; son, Spencer Novosel, of Bumpass, Va.; sister, Kristin (Steven) Kremer, of Snow Hill, Md.; father-in-law, Peter Novosel, of Uniontown, Pa.; sister and brother-in-law, Pamela and David Webb, of Alexandria, Va.; and nieces and nephew, Lindsay and Sydney Kremer and Veronica and Jack Webb.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Lois Nine Sullivan Murphy and Frank S. Sullivan; paternal grandparents, Dollie (Calhoun) and Vaughn C. Lewis; mother-in-law, Patricia Novosel and sister-in-law, Susan Novosel.
Family and friends will be received at the Arthur H. Wright Funeral Home, in Terra Alta, from 5 – 8 p.m. on Friday, August 3, with a prayer vigil at 7:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Edwards Catholic Church at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 4, with Fr. Andrew Switzer and the Rev. Msgr. Paul A. Hudock as celebrants. Burial will follow in the Terra Alta Cemetery.
