Ricky Alan Beason, 64, of Fairmont, passed away on Monday, July 30, 2018, at his residence. He was born in Fort Knox, Ky. on April 17, 1954.
Ricky is survived by his children, Marcie Brooks and her husband Brian, Rik Woodland and his wife Joni, Robby Beason and Jesse Beason; as well as four grandchildren, Sean, Ryan, Hatti and Ainsley Woodland.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Juanita Lockard.
Ricky served in the U.S. Army prior to working as a coal miner for Consolidated Coal Company. He was a member of the UMWA, an avid fan of music, he enjoyed watching football and other sports, as well as spending time with his children and grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Ford Funeral Home, DeGarmo Chapel, in Rivesville, from 10 – 11 a.m. on Friday, August 3, with a memorial service to follow.
