Richard John Anderson Jr, 59, of Morgantown, passed away Sunday, July 29, 2018, at JW Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born May 1, 1959, in Cincinnati, a son of Kaoka Luzader Anderson of Fairmont and the late Richard J. Anderson.
Richard was employed as a warehouse manager for Wilson Works. He was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and also enjoyed golfing, basketball and running.
In addition to his mother, Richard is survived by his wife, Cathy Ball Anderson; daughter, Lauren Shively and husband Andrew, of Cumberland, Md.; son Eric Anderson and wife Alexandra, of Pittsburgh; one sister, Margaret Jane Blumetto and husband Michael, of Fairmont, and two brothers, Thomas Anderson, of Hilton Head, S.C. and William Anderson of Rochester, N.Y., and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Flowers will be accepted but those desiring can make a memorial donation in Richard’s name to Love Your Brain Foundation, P.O. Box 247, Norwich, VT 05055.
Friends may call at the McCulla Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, August 2, and from 10 – 11 a.m. on Friday, August 3, with the funeral service to follow.
