FAIRMONT — A truck driver is recovering from injuries after an early morning crash in Marion County.
The driver of the semi lost control and crashed into a building housing a tattoo parlor on W.Va. 73 near Bunners Ridge.
The crash happened about 2:20 a.m. Authorities say nobody was in the building.
It’s unknown what caused the driver to lose control. He had to be cut out of the wreckage by rescue personnel.
The Winfield District Volunteer Fire Department and Marion County Rescue Squad responded to the accident. An investigation into the crash is under way.
