Harold Joseph Plum Sr., 66, of Kingwood, died on Monday, July 23, 2018, at his home.
Harold was born October 28, 1951, in Tunnelton, a son of the late Junior Pearl and Edith Elizabeth (Bateman) Plum.
He was a 1971 graduate of Tunnelton High School. He has worked for many years for Bob Goodwin and also has been a clerk at the Heldreth Motel in Kingwood from 1981 to present. Harold enjoyed fishing, mowing, and especially spending time with his family. He was always helping family, friends and strangers, doing odd jobs.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Harold Joseph and Marie Plum Jr., of Tunnelton; three sisters and spouse, Agnes Summers, of Arthurdale, Lily and Jerry Griffith, of Melbourne, Fla., Shirley Ann Conner, of Tunnelton; one brother, William H. “Tom” Plum, of Kingwood; two grandchildren, Aaron Plum, Jestina Plum; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by an infant brother and his brother, Richard Plum; two sisters, Barbara Jane Plum, Sheila Kay Plum; and two brothers-in-law, Arthur Summers, Harold Conner.
Friends will be received at the Rotruck-Lobb Kingwood Chapel from 4 – 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 26, and from 10 – 11 a.m. on Friday, July 27, with the funeral service to follow with the Reverend Ray Frankhouser officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories, located at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery, in Kingwood.
