Diabetes education
The Preston County Health Department will hold its monthly Diabetic Support Group from 6:30 –8 p.m. Wednesday.
The group meets the fourth Wednesday of each month at the WVU Extension Office on Court Street, Kingwood.
Meredith Sneddon, certified diabetic educator, will presen this month’s program on “Preventative Care and Diabetes-Self Management.” The group is open to everyone. It’s free to attend.
Appointments can be made at the Preston County Health Department for those newly diagnosed with diabetes or having trouble controlling their diabetes. Sneddon provides information to those interested in learning more about diabetes.

Get on the bus
Learning in Motion is a retrofitted school bus that is traveling throughout Preston County this summer to provide books, food and STEM education to kids.
