Patricia Kay Newbury, 71, passed peacefully at Lewis Gale Allegheny Hospital in Low Moor, Va. on Saturday, July 14, 2018.
She was born October 9, 1946, a daughter of the late Ted Hovatter and Frances Hovatter Dixon .
She will be remembered for her humor, her loving heart and generosity with much love. Her last four years have been in Clifton Forge, Va., where she has enjoyed being reunited with cousins, Wilma and Tom McClung and Linda Holt.
Patricia is survived by her sister, Susan Ringer and husband, Gary; 11 nieces and nephews and numerous grand nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her son, Duane Edward; two sisters, Margaret Solomon and Lucy Harbaugh and a brother, Roger Hovatter.
Friends will be received at the Bethlehem United Methodist Church, Dogtown Road, in Reedsville, from 10 a.m. – noon on Saturday, July 21, with the funeral hour to follow with the Reverend Maria Weblin officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery.
