Timothy Jan Shuttlesworth, 64, of Morgantown, passed away on July 5, 2018, at his home. He was born on June 10, 1954, in Clarksburg, the son of the late Ralph A. Shuttlesworth and Erlene Louise (Ansel) Shuttlesworth.
Tim will be remembered as a dedicated, hard-working, caring man, as well as a good housekeeper. He loved to fix old cars, farm, go to the beach and go out to eat. He was someone who always made sure that things were done right.
He was a dedicated employee at Mon Health Medical Center for 37 years and was known for always visiting friends and family when they were ill.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sister, Kimberly “LeeAnn” Shuttleworth, and uncle, Gene Shuttleworth.
He is survived by his brother, Ralph “Marty” Shuttleworth; close friends, Rick Sargo and Elton Slusser; good neighbors; and several loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Friends and family are welcome to call Carpenter and Ford Funeral Home, in Fairmont, from 4 – 8 p.m. on Friday, July 6, and from noon – 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 7, with services to follow with Pastor Peggy Petrich officiating. Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Gardens. Donations may be made in Tim’s memory to the Mon Health Cancer Center at 1200 J D Anderson Dr, Morgantown, WV 26505.
