The Fearless Fools to host performance, workshop

MORGANTOWN — Join The Fearless Fools for a night of unrehearsed, unabridged and unedited comedy at 8 p.m. July 7 at Monongalia Arts Center (MAC).
The Fearless Fools specialize in a blend of short-form and long-form improv, frequently fusing performances with stand-up and original sketch comedy.

Founded in 2013 by Clarksburg native and Second City-trained Steve Goff, the group has spent the last five years traveling around the state.
Prior to the performance, Craig Snider will lead an Adult Improv Workshop from 4-6 p.m. This workshop — under the umbrella of The VTC Academy and powered by The Fearless Fools’ new IMPROV(E) U — will introduce participants to the basic principles and tools of improv through solo, paired and group activities.

The workshop is not necessarily about learning to be an improv performer as much as finding a safe place to connect with community members.

Admission to the show is $10. Tickets may be purchased at the MAC lobby desk, at 304-292-3325 and monartscenter.com.
