Doris Steele Staddon Brown, age 88, of Morgantown, was received in the arms of her Lord and Savior after a long illness on Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at Sundale Nursing Home.
Friends may join the family to honor Doris’s life and legacy at Smith Funeral & Cremation Care, in Morgantown, from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, July 1. Mrs. Brown will be moved to the Sabraton Baptist Church, in Morgantown, where she will lay in repose from 10- 11 a.m. on Monday, July 2, with the funeral service to follow with Pastors Scott Whetzel and John Altizer officiating. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens in Westover.
Flowers will be accepted at the funeral home. However, those desiring to make a contribution in Doris’s memory may do so to the Bereavement Fund at Sabraton Baptist Church, 1641 Sabraton Ave., Morgantown, WV 26505.
