MORGANTOWN — June is Adopt-A-Cat month, and the Monongalia County Humane Society is urging people to consider adding a feline to the family.
For those who may not be able to adopt a cat, fostering is a possibility. Fostering a homeless pet results in thousands of lives saved each year, the organization says.
The Monongalia County Humane Society helps supplement 11 pantries throughout the county with pet food. It relies on volunteers and public donations to fill the shelves year round.
